For 57 years, SHAPE Community Center has been a cornerstone of Houston’s Third Ward, creating space for education, culture, wellness, civic engagement, and community connection.
After a devastating fire forced the closure of our Live Oak location, SHAPE began the work of rebuilding. Now, we are preparing to reopen our doors at Live Oak on November 1, 2026, continuing the legacy of a place that has served generations of families while remaining firmly rooted in Third Ward.
This is an evening of extraordinary music and an opportunity to invest in the continued life of one of Houston’s most enduring community institutions.
